    The Train Encounter   Once upon a time, a person (the narrator) was sitting alone in a train compartment. A man entered the compartment carrying a fancy suitcase. He looked at the narrator and excitedly said, "Well, well!" as if he recognized him. The narrator, however, had no idea who this man was.   The man kept saying, "Well, well!" and seemed very happy to see the narrator.
